Hello, hello, hello!

Well I would have to say my new year is starting off fairly well. Wishing the same for everyone. And also that this year is blessed, and enjoyable through ALL of life's situations.
I have gotten to enjoy a couple nights out with Matt. We're coming up on 6 months, and its shocking, that its been this long, but also that it feels like so, so much longer. We really started hanging out at the beginning of August. And it took off from there. I'll have to get into our whole 'how we met and started dating' story later. But from at least August 18th, we've been inseparable. In this whole 6 months there may, at the very most, be a whole 7 days in which we have completely not seen each other. And that's just here and there. That's a lot of time. Truthfully though, I wouldn't give up a second of that time, I love every single moment of it. (Yes, even when we're disagreeing about something.)
But last Wednesday, the 11th, we went to church at Cornerstone Baptist for a wonderful time, and then went out to Barnes and Noble! I love books. Love. Matt... well not so much. He's stepped in a library only a handful of times, where I was there that much in one week growing up. I read, and I reread. But I got a gift card for Christmas, along with a Starbucks card! Where there's another gift card match so perfectly matched I  know not of. Nor am I willing to search, seeing as I am content with this pair. To get Matt in the bookstore though I had to bribe him with a Caramel Brulee Latte, even though once in there he was perfectly content looking through Nirvana books...
Horrible picture. ): I  know, and I'm sorry. He wasn't purposefully doing this either. I thought I took a different picture, my phone even made the noise, but it wasn't there. I realized this too late. He offered to go back and redo it, (Love him!!) but I was more intent on getting coffee.
I even found a book there, that I shall be getting shortly... called Night Light by Dr. James Dobson. Yes, I realize I told you I had a gift card to Barnes and Noble, but it's only for $25, and the book is $23.99! So sadly I would have $0 after one book. I was not going to do that to myself. So I went home and found it on Amazon, (in link) for around $3.00!! Much better, I think. It's just a devotional for couples, I loved it though, and Matt agreed to do any devotional I wanted. That makes for a happy Leah. Can't wait to get it in!

Ohhh, and I skipped ahead a little bit, cause last Sunday, the 8th, me and Elizabeth went to Trader's World. Which is a huge, mostly indoor, flea market in Ohio.
Don't ask me what I'm doing here...  But see! Shorts in January!
And I found the most vintage-y, beautiful, amazing cabinet for mine and Matt's future apartment.

I LOVE this thing. And the old guy selling it to be was a doll. I adored him, I walked up to it and he walked up and said to me its $40 but I'll give it to you for $30. He even agreed to saving it for me till I could get Matt up there with a truck. He showed me right where he was keeping it, said I might not be here if it's snowing, I'll be on vacation if that happens. But you just come right back here and get it. And now its mine! I'm in love! I think I know right where she's going too. (:

Matt was off yesterday, and like I mentioned in my last blog, (which was over a week ago... /: Sorry bout that...) I was going to look at an animal shelter for a puppy. And we did, at the Kenton County Animal Shelter. I just happened to find the sweetest doggy there.
Her name is Flopsy! She's a 4 year old Shih Tzu!
And oh my goodness friends, she is absolutely the cutest, sweetest dog I have ever met. I don't have her with me, and that means she's not officially mine. But we have to make sure the cats we have are up to date on their rabies shots. Which is what we're doing tomorrow. Then on Tuesday morning, me and Matt are getting up there right at 10:30 when they open to guarantee she's mine. Show them the rabies shots papers and sign the papers. Sadly even after that I'll have to go back Wednesday to bring her home for good, she has to get spayed. ): poor dog. It'll be worth the wait though. I literally looked all through the kennel and she was one of the last I looked at, but she caught my eye so I went back to her. When I walked up she walked right up to me, so I bent down, and stuck my hand in the fence and began to pet her. She just looked right up at me, pushed her head into my hand and sat there. I looked at my mom and Matt, and said, 'This is her. This is my dog. I want this one.' She just stuck out to me. And to tell you the truth almost none of the other dogs would let me pet them! I was like Uh! Do I smell bad to them?? Usually animals are all over me, I love them they love me... (Cue Barney theme song...) but no! So I think that made it even better that she just let me pet her and pet her.
When we were going over adoption stuff I got to hold her in my lap, and she'd just look around and occasionally shed just look up at me, and hold my stare, and then lay her head down. It was meant to be. (: Except I was so heart broken when the lady there took her from me so we could leave. So, so heartbroken. But I'll make it up to her by buying her a bunch of treats on Wednesday!

Oh and plus yesterday was fantastic after that too. Me and Matt went and got my counter, went to an out-door mall. Which we did not stay at long. Talk about freezing! And I even had pants on! We rode back got a couple coffees, checked in at my house, and went down to his for some family time. We watched Just Go With It, such a cute movie, and happened to get snowed in. So his adorable face was what woke me up this morning. (As I was getting crawled across so he could watch tv...)

So after 1 1/2 hours of blogging I think I'm ready to hit the sack, I might post another something here real fast though. I dunno...
Goodnight. (:
